Services Policy
The following policy outlines the structure and expectations for all Montessori tuition services. By confirming a booking, families agree to the terms below.
Booking & Payment
All session blocks are paid in full in advance.
Session blocks secure a fixed weekly time slot for the duration of the purchased block.
Blocks are available in 4-week, 8-week or 12-week formats.
Single sessions are charged at the standard rate.
Payment confirms your booking and secures your allocated time.
Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are counted as used.
Because tuition involves children, a limited number of reschedules are built into each block to accommodate illness or unavoidable family commitments.
4-Week Block
Up to 1 session may be rescheduled within the block window, subject to availability.
8-Week Block
Up to 2 sessions may be rescheduled within the block window, subject to availability.
12-Week Block
Up to 3 sessions may be rescheduled within the block window, subject to availability.
Rescheduled sessions must take place within the duration of the purchased block.
If a suitable reschedule slot is not available within the block period, the session is forfeited.
Unused sessions do not roll over beyond the purchased block.
Health & Contagious Illness
If a child is unwell with a contagious illness, including fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, flu-like symptoms or other infectious conditions, sessions cannot proceed in person.
These sessions will fall within the allocated reschedule allowance for the block.
The health and wellbeing of all families is prioritised.
Renewal
Blocks conclude on the agreed end date.
Renewal must be confirmed no later than 7 days before the final session in order to retain your weekly time slot.
If renewal is not confirmed by this deadline, the slot may be released to another family.
Travel & Parking
Sessions are available within a 5-mile radius of SE19.
For locations beyond 5 miles from SE19, a travel fee applies. This will be confirmed at the time of enquiry based on distance.
Where parking restrictions apply, parents are responsible for arranging suitable parking.
If a residential permit is required, it must be provided in advance.
Any parking charges must be covered by the parent.
Observation & Progress Tracking
Families receive regular photo observations via a secure online platform.
Each observation outlines the activity presented, the developmental objective and the next steps.
Skills are tracked as Introduced, Exploring, Practising or Secure.
A four-week overview summarises progress and focus areas.
For longer blocks, written reports are provided at the end of the development cycle.
